GRUHAM began with a simple belief: that the things we bring into our homes should carry meaning, warmth, and a story worth telling.

I'm Rajeshvari Jagtap, an engineer with 18 years of corporate experience. Together with my daughter Ananya — the proud co-owner learning and growing alongside me — we created GRUHAM. It's more than a brand; it's a bridge between generations, a celebration of Indian heritage, and a commitment to sustainable living.

Born with Purpose

GRUHAM was born from a moment of profound gratitude. When God gifted me another life, I knew it came with a purpose — to create something meaningful, to give back, and to live with intention.

After years in the corporate world, I chose to follow my heart. I wanted to create something real, something rooted in tradition yet relevant to modern homes. With Ananya by my side, we set out to revive the art of handcrafted wooden décor — not just as products, but as pieces that bring joy, purpose, and connection to everyday life.

As a proud mother, the small moments we share — whether we're designing a new piece, creating reels together, or simply talking about our vision — are what make this journey truly special. If I may share something close to my heart: when you meet a small vegetable vendor, a street seller, or any small vendor working hard to make a living — please do not bargain. Support them with whatever they request. That extra money you give will come back to you in multifold blessings.
